Pension La Calma in Ciutat Vella, right by the Cathedral of Barcelona, was a delightful budget-friendly find for a spontaneous one-night stay. The staff, especially Marvin, were warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The room, though small, was clean and had everything we needed, including a lock for our belongings - a crucial detail for a single traveler like me.The location couldn't have been better, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions, restaurants, and even the beach. Plus, the option for bike and car hire made exploring the historic streets of Barcelona a breeze. And let's not forget the cozy shared lounge and free WiFi - perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing.If you're a solo traveler or a couple on a budget looking for a charming place to stay in the heart of Barcelona's rich history, I highly recommend Pension La Calma.
